TERRORISM
Terrorism can be defined as an act which by creating panic and fear among the people chooses to fulfill its perceived objectives.
It is of two
types – criminal and political terrorism. Criminal terrorism is resorted to by
criminals and is perpetuated only on a limited number of people or a particular
section of the society.
However, the
most dangerous is political terrorism. It has its influence on all the section
of the society. A terrorist is a highly motivated person. He is often supported
by the political leaders and influential people of the society. A terrorist
does not hesitate while committing acts of murder, robberies and hijacking.
Due to the
non-tolerance of certain people like religious and political leader the
society gets divided. These leaders misguide the innocent youth into
believing that only violence can solve the problem. Through these misguided
youth, these unscrupulous leaders try to create disturbance in the society.
The doors of
negotiation are always open. No method is the best expect talks and discussion
to solve the differences. Therefore, we can truly say that in a democratic
country like India there is no place for terrorism.
