CORRUPTION
Corruption is witnessed
all over the world in developing as well as developed countries. There is
hardly any sector which can be characterized for not being infected with the
vices of corruption. Nobody can be considered free from corruption.
Corruption is an act of
bribery or misuse of public position of power for the fulfillment of selfish
motives or to gain personal gratification. Now a days government officers asks
for bribes & if we do not give them bribes then they will surely not look
at your matter. Their policy is “no bribe no work”.
Poor people suffer the
most, they are deprived of the various government, they are deprived of the
various government welfare scheme meant for them.
Police is supposed to be
the guardian of law & order and discipline. Even they indulge in corruption
& let criminals & law breakers run havoc with the public order. It has
been seen the officers who are depute to look into the matters of corruption
turn out to be corrupt.
To root out the corruption
from the society we need to make a comprehensive code of conduct for
politician, legislature & codes should be strictly enforced. Special courts
should be set up to take up such issues & speed trial is to be promoted.
Law & order should be allowed to work without political interference. Only
then we would be able to save our system from being collapsed.
